What’s most fun for me about running Ice Gallery is getting to see the myriad ways each artist interprets the instruction “site specific”. I have yet again been surprised by the way in which the new installation “Lancea” by Kline Swonger has capitalized on a never before used aspect of the space. Over the last few weeks Kline has engaged in a thoughtful meticulous process to bring us an installation that is both subtle and intricate.
